Spent 14 nights in 14 different hotels as we took part in a bike ride. The Wynnstay Arms was a highlight, not for the facilities, although they were great, however, for the service we received. Met by a young, red-headed lady (sorry, can't remember name) who got us organised with a safe day place to keep our bikes. Then, realising we hadn't eaten paused our check-in so we could grab some food (again, great) before the kitchen closed. After dinner, she took us back to reception to finish check-in. We had cycled 90 odd miles that day in a storm, and none of us were in good moods, but being looked after they way we were on arrival made a world of difference. Wrexham was a flying visit, but we will come back to explore, and when we do, we will stay at the Wynnstay Arms again. Thanks

You simply get what you pay for. It’s cheap and cheerful. We booked a family room consisting of a large bed and a single. The room was very spacious and clean. We used the restaurant one evening and couldnt fault the food. It’s also in the centre of pretty much everything you need. We come visiting a family member down here and will be using this hotel as our first choice in future. The beds were comfy and we slept well. The staff was all really friendly too. My son can’t wait to be back.

Friendly welcome on arrival, comfortable fresh clean room, bathrooms a bit dated now, but refurb planned later this year.all the usual amenities in the room, tea & coffee making facilities, hairdryer, tv, iron available on request, food order and collection service if you want to eat in your room, good car park free to guests, fantastic central location for shopping & restaurants.good pub food at the hotel and breakfast amazingly good.

Linda

The hotel is tired and about to be renovated - which is very necessary. Great restaurant and bar and absolutely excellent staff who really go the extra mile - particularly Ms Rowanne on the front desk - she was an angel. A great location just 12 minutes walk from The Racecourse to watch Wrexham FC matches, with parking included and a terrific breakfast too.

Philip

The beds at this place are very, very comfortable! Staff have always been polite and professional. The old front of the building is impressive like a lot on the road. I've stayed numerous times at this hotel. Don't expect luxury but it's fine enough - there is variation in the quality of the rooms though. Breakfast is ok. Not great but ok.
